Stick to the Plan by Scheduling Your Social Media Posts

Whew, we have walked through a lot of information over the past several weeks about getting your posts on social media ready. Now it’s time to put them out into the world. I am already on my phone way more than I should be, but one thing that helps me is using a scheduling software. Now, because I have multiple clients I am posting for on multiple platforms, I have used paid software components to help me keep up with everything all in one place, but if you have only a facebook page and an instagram, then the Meta Business Suite will do everything you need it to do.

Since you already have your content laid out, your graphics are done, you’ve written your hooks and copy, then all you have to do now is go put in the calendar. I would suggest doing a week at a time. This won’t take you long, and then when you feel more comfortable you can spread your wings and get it done a month at a time.

This is where I still am learning and growing in my business, because I am posting for multiple businesses. There are always ways to improve my efficiency, so I am working on batching tasks in different ways, figuring out who I am working on which days, and then when I want to be done with certain things for each client.

Here are a few scheduling softwares that I have used and liked…

  • Meta Business Suite (this allows you to schedule posts and reels to Facebook and Instagram)

  • Later (has a free version, but it won’t automatically post in the free version- But you can post to several platforms in one place)

  • Planoly (IG friendly, has a free version)

  • Metricool* (This is what I am using as of right now. I do have the paid version, but they have a free version that allows you to post for 1 brand- As of right now, I’m really liking it, but it does limit you in some areas.) *This is an affiliate link.

What do you use to schedule your posts? Would you like to see more about these scheduling platforms?

My brand new Monthly Marketing Group is going to be looking at these scheduling platforms more in depth. If you’d like to join us, you can do that here!
